Ulead® Photo Explorer Home is really one of the most useful bits of photo cataloguing software I have come across, with some cool, simple to use photo editing features. You can trial it or buy it. I liked it so much I bought it. And it was the best $20 bucks I’ve ever spent.

Though strictly speaking not a "collection", Trillian is a part of our collection of favourite utilities. At the risk of sounding like they have paid me to write this (they have not, I swears!), Trillian is an Instant Messaging utility currently supporting a large range of IM and Social chat networks. Regardless of whether your IM provider, you can set up multiple cross-platform accounts and do all you IM-ing from the one IM program. Trillian currently supports accounts with:

There is more to life than 3D shoot'em-ups and RPGs. There are plenty of great little games out there designed to run in Windows. They never grow old. You'll never have a Windows computer they won't run on. They're safe for littlies and fun for biggies too. Here is the first small collection of Windows games we have alway had around for years.
